Re: [4XONTARIO] Forex Courses

Well Like you said, the broker makes a big impact on how it will perform, especially since it takes the small profits. Of course like any robot, it will perform better or worse in certain markets so it will still need to be babysit. The good news is this robot uses stops, I have seen the ones that haven't and it gets real ugly sometimes. What broker were you planning on using?

Against my initial judgment, I've been impressed by megadroid. I have a

friend who has been trading it live since April, so obviously he enjoyed

May. His demo tests before then lost 4 trades out of 100 - average winners

were 7 pips, average losers were 30 pips.

I ran some statistical analysis that suggests one year out of six would

probably get two losses in a row. I ran a monte carlo simulation of

trading at the 40% risk level and had a 20% average drawdown, with a

standard deviation of 6% and a yearly multiple of 3x to 8x.

In theory, there should be little difference between theory and practice,

but in practice there is. Most of the tests that I've seen have similar

results, although a few people have had losing trades in a row and some

brokers aren't as good as others apparently.

I hope to go live with megadroid myself soon on a small account and see how

it does for me. Shouldn't be any different than anyone, right?
